TISI stands for Thai Industrial Standards Institute. TISI is responsible for consumer protection, environmental protection, industrial development and competitiveness in the world and fair trade and standard setting in Thailand. TISI classifies products, some of which must obtain the mandatory certification mark to enter Thailand for consumer sales, others can obtain the voluntary mark, and EMI and EMS marks can be applied for according to customer needs. Products entering Thailand must meet the IEC standard and the Thai TISI standard at the same time.
